Groundbreaking ceremony of Mo Duc Solar Power Plant
After years of research and strategic orientation for renewable energy development in Vietnam, Thien Tan Group has invested heavily in this green industry. The Mo Duc Solar Power Plant is the first project in Thien Tan Group's renewable energy series in Vietnam.
The Mo Duc Solar Power Plant has a capacity of 19.2MW, spanning an area of nearly 30 hectares. During construction and operation, it produces no pollution, no noise, and does not affect the environment. The project received absolute support from the Government and relevant authorities.
On April 26, 2019, the Mo Duc Solar Power Plant was officially put into operation and integrated into the national power grid.
The operation of the Mo Duc Solar Power project has brought many practical benefits. This project not only adds a clean power source and reduces dependence on traditional energy but also helps decrease greenhouse gas emissions and protect the environment, aligning with the national sustainable development strategy. It also created a foundation and experience for Thien Tan Group in investing and deploying large-scale solar power projects in the future. Furthermore, the project contributes to local socio-economic development, creating jobs and increasing budget revenue for Quang Ngai province. Mo Duc Solar Power is considered an important foundation helping Thien Tan Group expand its renewable energy activities nationwide.
